I have now answered the top 20 questions in my section of "Ask a Google Engineer". Many of the remaining ones sound inappropriate or unanswerable, so I don't expect I'll be answering them, unless the popular vote really brings some of them to the top.

The next language on the list is PHP, and honestly it about time for Python on the web to take a dominate position. I think App Engine is a great start in that direction.

The main thing I think Python needs is all of these web tools like PHP has. We need PythonMySQLadmin, Wordpress, Drupal, etc. My guess much of this is on the way. Maybe I can even help make one or two of them :)
