Whenever I feel down, I look at the TIOBE programming community index, and it makes me feel better. :-)

looking at TIOBE programming community index make any pythonista feels good,
i can feel how a author feels for its
creation.

we expect more in future...
hope guido feel even more better in future, when he looks to the index...

A question for GvR: what do you think about Cobra programming language?

Its interesting that there were such drastic drops in spring of 2004 for PHP, C++, and Java, while at the same time Python enjoyed one of the sharpest spikes in popularity on the long term community index graph. Do you know what was going on then that would have caused this?

Another thing that makes me (and probably us) feel good is that Pvote's open source voting machine software made the right choice to use python.
